Haws' Touchless Water Cooler and Bottle Filler Awarded 2021 Environmental Protection New Product of the Year
Haws Corporation is pleased to announce the 1211 Wall Mount ADA Filtered Touchless Water Cooler and Bottle Filler (Cooler) was named 2021 Environmental Protection New Product of the Year by Environmental Protection, in the competitive water category.
“The innovation and solution-driven technologies highlighted in our list of 2021 New Product of the Year winners shows how this industry continues to evolve in the face of deepening environmental issues,” said Environmental Protection Editor Sydny Shepard.
The Cooler is designed for hands-free, sustainable hydration with the user and facility manager in mind. The modern, innovative design melds with offices, universities and airports; with a 3000-gallon capacity filter, the Cooler’s ideal for high-traffic locations. And, with retrofit installation compatibility over many existing water coolers, the Cooler saves time and money for COVID-related upgrades.
The sensor-operated solenoid valve provides hands-free hygienic operation, and the pressure-regulating bubbler with flexible antimicrobial mouth guard requires no adjusting. An LED display shows when water is filtering and how many plastic bottles were saved. The 1.1 GPM fill rate allows visitors to fill up quickly, eliminating queues. Even at the busiest of times, the tankless water cooler provides consistently cool water through a patented water cooling system.
Smart Features
The Cooler saves energy by powering down its refrigeration system and lights after two hours of non-use, upon resumption of demand cool water is almost immediately available.
An Electronic Lifecycle Control feature shuts water flow off when the filter reaches its capacity. Flow begins automatically when the filter is replaced. Auto-purge cycles every 24 hours ensuring fresh water in supply lines, as well as trap integrity.
- Self-regulating bubbler flow: no need to adjust to varying water pressures
- Programmable to shut-down for facility closures
A deactivation feature allows sites to temporarily deactivate flow to the drinking fountain bubbler head, providing facilities versatility to manage functionality of the unit to meet local/ADA requirements.
