Writer Wanted!

Calling all freelance content marketing writers! Dogwood Solutions, a Boise-based integrated marketing agency, is adding another blog writer to its team. If you’re looking for a new client, we might be a great fit.

Job details

Our work is mostly B2B, corporate communications, and PR. We’re looking for someone who has solid research, writing, and self-editing chops (we have editors and proofreaders, but we don’t like to see messy first drafts).

Assignments are generally given with at least a five-day turn around. Pay is based on assignment and starts at ~$35/hour (if you’re a faster writer that means your hourly rate is higher, but assignments are based on hourly estimates for an average writer).

Our writers start with a paid assignment. If that’s successful, we assign more work on a weekly/bi-weekly basis depending on work flow.

Requirements

We’re looking for North American-based writers who can provide at least three (3) samples of:

  • Current B2B content marketing blogs

Tell us what the goal of each blog was, and if you were involved in the SEO of the piece.

Please note, at this time we’re not interested in social media posts, nor B2C work.

We will not respond to anyone who uses AI to generate posts. Also, while we love working with writers from other countries, we’re only reviewing submissions from writers based in North America.

Types of Audiences/Clients

If you have samples of blogs in the following industry verticals, we’re especially interested:

  • Manufacturing
  • Safety
  • Wellness
  • Life coaching/mental health

How to apply

Send samples and your Linkedin URL or resume to . If your website is current, we’re happy to look at it but please include the links of the work you’d like us to review. (ie. make it easy for us, we’re kinda busy.)

We’re looking forward to seeing what you’ve got!

PS. Links to clients’ sites are fine. In fact, we prefer them. Please do not send us an email that states that you can’t share your work due to client confidentiality. We can’t evaluate your work if you don’t share it.

Don’t worry, there’s more!
